Nethmie Jayasooriya There was an era where politics was one of the most hideous topics among the youth culture in Sri Lanka. Therefore this campaign #YouthVoteSL was brought up to strengthen the youth voter education and engagement. #YouthVoteSL is a project initiated by the Rotaract district 3220-Sri Lanka to mark the International Youth Day in collaboration of the Election Commission of Sri Lanka and the International Foundation for Election Systems. Smashes from Carom Bash 2k16! By Rtr. Raven Venthan. Long awaited  Carom  Bash tournament for  Carom  lovers was held on 15 th August, 2016 by Rotaract club of CCS. The event was nerve breaking that every second was spent around the board with crowd clashing with supports with lots of unpredictable combos from unimaginably talented players from our CCS. It felt like a life time for all the players at the board. The event started after lighting of the traditional oil lamp and with the blessings from the dean of College of Chemical Sciences, Professor P. Paranagama and all other professors and lecturers. Then the exciting game of carom started with men’s only tournaments. Each team player was categorized randomly into groups and each game winner from the perticular category was chosen according to the points.
