Suicide: A Silent Epidemic - A Message of Hope
Have you been stuck in your dark room for days, unable to get out? Has eating or maintaining your hygiene become burdensome? Or, have you ever battled with thoughts that whispered, "You're not worth it"?
There is something my good friend always tell me whenever I seem to be stuck in a loop of negativity. "Go eat something sweet and have a good sleep." It might seem hopeless and even laughable. "You only say that because you don't know how it feels."
If so, you're not alone. Millions of people around the world struggle with suicidal thoughts, and it's a battle that can feel overwhelming.
But I want you to know that there is hope. There is a way out of the darkness. You are not defined by your pain, and you are not a burden to others. You are a unique and valuable individual, and you deserve to experience joy, love, and fulfillment.
Remember, those dark thoughts are often a product of the illness, not a reflection of your true self. They can be deceptive, twisting your perception of reality and making you believe that things will never get better. But I promise you, things can and will get better.
If you're struggling with suicidal thoughts, please know that you're not alone. There are people who care about you and want to help. Reach out to a friend, family member, therapist, or a crisis hotline. There are countless resources available to support you.
Don't let those dark voices silence your light. You are stronger than you think, and you deserve to live a life filled with hope and happiness. Remember, there is always a reason to keep going.
