ROTA. NEWBIES

ROTA. NEWBIES

The Rotaract Club recently hosted Project Rota Newbies, a fun-packed orientation to welcome our incoming members- aka the ‘Rota Newbies’- into the world of Rotaract. Organized by the Club Service Avenue, the event aimed to introduce new members to the vibrant world of Rotaract and provide them with insights into the roles and responsibilities they can embrace in the upcoming year.

During the program, all the Exco members and Directors introduced themselves and explained their specific roles within the Rotaract movement. Each avenue shared photos, videos, personal experiences, and key learnings from their tenure, offering a firsthand look at how they contributed to the club and the community. This provided the newcomers with a clear understanding of the responsibilities associated with each position, helping them make informed decisions about which roles they might pursue in the RI year 2026/27.

The session was made even more interactive with fun games and team-building activities, fostering camaraderie and encouraging engagement among the new members. By the end of the program, the Rota Newbies not only gained a comprehensive view of the club’s operations but also felt inspired and motivated to actively contribute to the club’s initiatives in the coming year.

Project Rota. Newbies was more than just an orientation- it was a celebration of experience, learning, and the spirit of service that defines Rotaract.
